FISH AQUACULTURE

More than 2 million top quality Tilapia and Mullets are fished each year out of Ragab Farms advanced aquaculture facility.  Breeding takes place within a temperature-controlled hatchery, and resulting fry are grown to finger size in a dedicated nursery within the farm’s facilities. Fingerlings are then grown in 145 inland tanks and are fished at an average size of 350-400 grams per fish. The farm supplies the Egyptian market with fresh tilapia all year round.
